In the month of November ESP month is held with the theme for this year's celebration
"Mapanuring Paggamit ng gadget tungo sa Makapagkalingang Ugnayan sa Pamilya at Kapwa"

Values are integral part of every culture with worldview and personality they generate behavior.Values tell people what is good ,beneficial important ,useful,beautiful,desirable constructive and etc.Filipino Values may be attributed into many influences .These can be from its ancestors or influenced from its colonizers.A lot of good and unique Filipino values that made them known to the whole world. One of the positive values of Filipinos is Familism or close family relation they  are giving highest importance to family above other thing. A trait wherein family members should be taken care and supported regardless of whether she\he did something wrong ,a family member must given attention and should not be abandoned. But young people now a days are gradually forgetting the good Filipino values. There are over 60M Filipinos on the internet now a days.
·         a lot of millennials are hooked on KPOP and other foreign bands on youtube and other streaming websites
·         Filipinos, young and old are following telenovelas on their tablets or smartphones
·         Millions of us are shopping online rather than in stores
·         Thousands of Filipinos are being employed as home-based virtual staffs by overseas employers
·         You walk into any public place and 8 out 10 people will have mobile phones on the hands
·         You will find it rare to see people using traditional cameras to take pictures - they have been replaced by smartphones
·         Students have no reason to go physical libraries, as everything is now available in the internet
·         Many students and office workers have stopped making notes.. they just use their phones to take pictures or audio recording of what has been discussed
·         Drivers don’t ask for directions anymore, they use online maps to show how to get to their destinations
 But don't be fooled. Technology does benefit your family.technology has opened up a new world to express and create.It allows for a true sense of freedom and empowerment.Technology is not just helping families build relationship it's helping to maintain them as well.Technology is making it easier than ever for families to stay in touch despite hectic schedules that involve work,errands,and extra-curricular activities.Parents and kids can easily check in with each other throughout the day.Parents also have peace of mind knowing where their kids are at all times ,and that they can reach them quickly in the event of emergency.Many families also use technology to strengthen and maintain bonds with grandparents and other relatives who may live far away. Technology and social media can also be a channel for opening up a dialogue between parents and kids about events affecting our world.but always remember everything has it own limitation.

In the year 1898 June 12. One of the most important date in our country Philippines. The day of Independence from the Spanish Rule. For over 300 years, Philippines for the first time under foreign rule our ancestors had fight for our freedom and claim for an independent country. Several Filipinos now a days tend to take Philippine Independence  Day for granted but the truth that we have a lot of reasons to celebrate this meaningful event. Independence Day remind us the courage, sacrifices, hardwork and bravery to fight colonizers and also their fear and terror.
